When The Hundrends backed LA/Bay Area emcee Alexander Spit contacted us about dropping his song “Long Awaited” featuring J-Billion through 24KMILKCRATE.COM we jumped at the chance. We’ve been lucky enough to gain the attention and support of more than a few extremely skilled artists in hip hop and Alexander Spit assuredly falls under the same category. The multi-talented lyricist also whiped up his own production for “Long Awaited” that he and J-Billion easily take command over. The best things come to those who wait. Last Saturday Bambu rocked SIPA community center on Temple in Los Angeles to a packed house celebrating the release of his latest album “Paper Cuts” which is on sale now! If you’ve never caught a live show by Bambu you’re missing out on the good stuff. Not only is he a great orator but he knows how to keep a crowd involved in the down time. All marks of a seasoned veteran showman. I suggest you GET UP ON MAGIC!

J.Davinci’s interpretation of his brutal surroundings growing up in San Francisco’s Fillmore hasn’t led him down your typical emcees path. While many artists choose to use their harsh environment as a platform to deliver equally harsh and stark rhymes. J.DaVinci’s art is filtred through a desire to understand the broad scope of poverty, drugs, and survival. He’s a sniper though, and he rarely strays off of his mark, whether it’s Benjamins, gurls, slangin’, or gentrification in his neighborhood.  Along with his Thorobred click and SwtBrds Creative Collective backing DaVinci is set to drop his album “The Day The Turf Stood Still” March 9th and it’s already getting the attention it deserves.
