Once again the Jealous Guys are coming straight for your eardrums (and your hearts) with “The Love Mixtape” I’ve heard the progression in Casa Bey and Ayende’s music from their last project “One Night Stand” and I had to make sure 24KMilkCrate got involved with their next project. “The Love Mixtape” is probably going to be one of the hottest mix tapes from any upcoming artist in the Bay for summer 2010. These kids are just getting their stripes in. But they’re not pulling any punches on the beats or the rhymes.

Sayknowledge is the ILLEST solo artist under 21 in San Francisco. Guaranteed. Hands down. Stoopid sick. “Drugs Giovanna” is his first official mixtape and it’s solid as hell. Far from anything you ever expected, yet it all has a very very commercial appeal. Which is exactly what I’m sure he was gunning for. Raw ass talent that it doesn’t take a day to acknowledge. STOP SLEEPING. N GET UP ON MAGIC.

I’m not going to lie, talking to Sayknowledge! is difficult sometimes. His mind and speech pattern works in word combinations that require a safe cracker’s ability to listen while waiting for the sound of the right pins to drop and unlock. From the last correspondence we had, this is what I could piece together.

Sayknowledge! is all about vision, that’s why his latest project is called the “Big Picture”.  It’s an endeavor which is part clothing label, part music group and all style (more on that later as it develops). At this second his focus is straight out rhyme slinging and he’s swinging for the bleachers, at this moment he can truly claim to be confident in his style and abilities. That’s why this track “SayNeo” and upcoming leaks will demonstrate his lyrics and only come across with a hint of cockiness. Instead he’s focusing each bar’s intricacy, and for a 18 year old emcee that’s says a lot about the maturity and dedication to his art. Christening himself the “Last Samurai” of San Francisco it  is probably a wink and a nod to Tom Cruise’s fearless warrior spirit and dedication and the Japanese obsession of  perfection. Can’t argue with that shit!

Stunnaman could make domesticating man eating Tiger Sharks look fun to do. So hanging out with him in his Hollywood pad shooting this music/promo video on a complete whim, for a song that he and Gata (of G.E.D) did barely felt like work. Stunnaman or the “Swag God” as he fondly has pronounced himself is a magnet for dope characters. He pulls anybody with talent into his creative circle no matter what it is they do and finds a way to incorporate them into his hustle. He’s talented, generous, focused and mentally acute, all traits that will get you to the top. Making this short was fun as hell, maybe we’ll do more of them in the future, but for right now press play and, GET UP ON MAGIC!

Individually known as Biz Y Casa, 19 (pictured on the left) and Ayinde, 20 (pictured on the right) they’ve soaked up all the best in hip hop since their preschool years and they’re more than ready to smash the air waves with their own songs and parables on life, love, and stories of growing up in the Bay.
